root + restore was founded with the intention of centering the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of Black women. the mission of root + restore is to empower women to root themselves in personal truth and individual history while learning skills to support the ongoing process of restoration from complex trauma, systemic oppression, daily stressors and the invisible burdens that impact the mind, body + spirit.

root + restore offers a healing space where women can show up fully as themselves, without code-switching, performance, or apology.
